Why are people so against using hydrocarbon refrigerants in cars?
I switched my truck from R134A to Envirosafe 12A refrigerant and it blows in the low 30s now. Much much better than sitting in the Florida heat only blowing 45* air. Why are people so against using the hydrocarbons. Why would anyone want to place up with 134′s lackluster cooling, when they can freeze their ass off with a hydrocarbon refrigerant like Envirosafe 12a?

Hydrocarbon freon is highly flammable. It may be cooler, but it runs a bigger risk
By hydrocarbon, they mean to say the other word for it,propane.Normally not a problem but when something goes wrong, like a leak from a bad seal or a fender bender,it can be a fire hazard and explosive. It would make me a little apprehensive although it works well.
@chels I know what you mean, its hard to find good help these days. People now days just don’t have the work ethic they used to have. I mean consider whoever wrote this post, they must have been working hard to write that good and it took a good bit of their time I am sure. I work with people who couldn’t write like this if they tried, and getting them to try is hard enough as it is.
Hey, I just hopped over to your site via StumbleUpon. Not somthing I would normally read, but I liked your thoughts none the less. Thanks for making something worth reading.
